How to delete your Daria Connect account

You can delete your account at any time. The fastest path is directly inside the app. If you no longer have access to the app, an email fallback is available below.
1. Delete your account from within the app (recommended)
Deletion is handled directly in the Daria Connect app in four steps:
- Open the app and sign in.
- From the menu (hamburger icon, top left), navigate to Settings → Delete Account.
- Read the warning carefully and request the confirmation code via email. The code is sent to the email address registered on your account.
- Enter the code in the app. Your account is deactivated immediately.
Once confirmed, your profile is no longer visible to other members, and sign-in is no longer possible. Final deletion happens automatically after a 30-day grace period.
2. What happens to my data?

| During the 30-day grace period | Your data can still be restored — you can stop the deletion by contacting support (see below). |
| After 30 days (automatic) | Profile data, avatar, header image, gallery photos (S3), personal settings and tags are permanently deleted. |
| Kept, anonymized | Your posts and comments remain available to the community, but without any link to your name or profile. |
| Kept, anonymous | Anonymous usage and activity data (no link back to you). See Privacy Policy section 6. |

3. I no longer have access to the app
Lost your device, uninstalled the app, or locked out for another reason? Send us an email — we will delete your account manually after a short identity check.
