Child Safety Standards

Daria Connect (operated by Daria US Holding LLC) does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We have a zero-tolerance policy. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of grooming, sexualization or exploitation of minors are strictly prohibited on Daria Connect.

This page sets out our child safety standards and fulfils the requirements of Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

What Daria Connect is for

Daria Connect is a closed community app built around the Daria way of life. The app is intended exclusively for adults; use by anyone under the age of 16 is not permitted. Daria Connect is not a platform for erotica or dating.

What we prohibit

The following has no place on Daria Connect:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — images, videos, drawings or text that sexually depict or exploit minors, in any form.
  • Grooming — any attempt to contact, manipulate or meet a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sexualization of minors — content that shows or describes children or teenagers in a sexualized way, including by suggestion.
  • Sharing and linking — distributing, offering or linking to such content through the app.

How we enforce this

Our Community Guidelines expressly prohibit content that endangers minors. We enforce these standards as follows:

  • Reporting and blocking directly inside the app, allowing every member to report posts and profiles and to block other people.
  • Moderation: reported content is usually reviewed within 24 hours. For clear violations we act immediately.
  • Action: we remove prohibited content, suspend the accounts involved and reserve the right to take further legal steps.

Reporting content in the app

You do not need to leave the app to report a problem to us:

Report a post: Tap the … button in the menu of a post and choose "Report". Briefly describe what bothers you. Your report goes straight to our moderation team.

Block a person: From the profile menu you can block other members. After that you will no longer see any posts from this person and they can no longer contact you.

If you suspect that content endangers a child, please also email us directly at app@daria-us.com. We treat such reports with the highest priority.

What happens when abuse is suspected

If a suspicion of child sexual abuse or exploitation is confirmed, we remove the content, suspend the responsible account and report the case to the relevant law enforcement and child protection authorities — in the United States to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). We comply with all applicable child protection laws.
